Touch Control lamps are a really interesting innovation that have brought a great convenience to our lives. These ordinary looking lamps have a touch sensitive feature that allows us to switch them on and off by simply touching any metallic part of it’s body or even the wire. This innovation has freed us from the trouble of using traditional switches and it is really a suitable item to use in this modern era. Basically every ordinary lamp can have a touch control feature by simply screwing in a touch switch in a lamp’s socket. This switch actually makes a lamp’s body sensitive to human body temperature and this is the reason why it activates when anyone touches it. Since human body temperature is warmer than a normal room temperature, a touch light switch will not activate on its own, as a result of room temperature. This touch light switch will only activate and deactivate when human body temperature or something equal to that comes in contact with its body.

These switches also take into account the capacity of holding electrons. A Touch light lamp has its own capacity and when you touch its body the electrons from your body are added to its capacity, which activates the lamp. In other words, the circuit of this switch detects the change in its capacity of holding electrons and activates the lamp. A Touch control switch may look like a simple device, but its functions are really interesting, innovative and useful.
